Condicionantes
The designations a professional checks first: the Natura 2000 sites (ZEC and ZPE, the basis of the Avaliação de Incidências Ambientais), the mainland protected areas with their legal classification, the national inventory of classified areas (which covers Madeira and the Azores), the Ramsar sites, the water-domain servitudes (ARPSI flood extents, adjacent zones, abstraction protection perimeters and classified reservoirs) and the POOC and POAAP zoning. Does NOT include REN, RAN or PDM zoning, for a complete constraints plan, consult the municipality.
14 layers
Água e litoral
The water-related constraints of mainland Portugal: the drinking-water abstraction protection perimeters (immediate, intermediate and outer zones), the Water Framework Directive abstraction protected zones, the public-water reservoirs and their POAAP zoning, the POOC coastal zoning, the waste-water sensitive areas and the nitrate vulnerable zones.
9 layers
Madeira e Açores
The set for working on the islands. The ICNF's national layers cover the mainland only: these are the ones that answer on Madeira, Porto Santo, the Selvagens and the nine Azorean islands: Rede Natura 2000, the national inventory of classified areas, and the Ramsar sites.
4 layers
Património geológico
UNESCO Geoparks and the geosites of the Cadastro dos Valores Naturais, with their scientific interest and degree of vulnerability, over the protected areas that frame them. For geology, geotourism, and for anyone assessing impacts on geological heritage.
3 layers
Floresta e percursos
Forest Intervention Zones and officially approved walking routes, with the protected areas and biosphere reserves underneath. For forest management, wildfire defence and planning fieldwork: or a walk.
4 layers
Defesa da floresta
Priority parishes, the PRIMARY network of fuel-management strips, and the recent burnt areas. The secondary network, the 100 m and 50 m that are the owner's duty under article 49 of Decree-Law 82/2021, is not published as a national service.
9 layers
Natureza e habitats
Rede Natura 2000, habitats and the protected areas of the whole country, islands included through the national inventory (the Biosphere Reserves are mainland only).

Known gaps, stated plainly
What is not here, and why. These lines come from the app and are removed the day a layer ships.
- Madeira has no walking routes: the levadas and veredas have no open source, and permission has been requested from the regional government.
- Pico has no trail layer either: the Azores publish eight islands and not the ninth.
- No REN or RAN, and no PDM zoning: the constraints most rural transactions turn on are not published as open national services.
- ICNF layers cover the mainland only; the islands are served by the European layers.
