Condicionantes
The designations a professional checks first: the Natura 2000 sites (ZEC and ZPE, the basis of the Avaliação de Incidências Ambientais), the mainland protected areas with their legal classification, the national inventory of classified areas (which covers Madeira and the Azores), the Ramsar sites, the water-domain servitudes (ARPSI flood extents, adjacent zones, abstraction protection perimeters and classified reservoirs) and the POOC and POAAP zoning. Does NOT include REN, RAN or PDM zoning, for a complete constraints plan, consult the municipality.
Madeira e Açores
The set for working on the islands. The ICNF's national layers cover the mainland only: these are the ones that answer on Madeira, Porto Santo, the Selvagens and the nine Azorean islands: Rede Natura 2000, the national inventory of classified areas, and the Ramsar sites.
Natureza e habitats
Rede Natura 2000, habitats and the protected areas of the whole country, islands included through the national inventory (the Biosphere Reserves are mainland only).
