Who you are dealing with
merestonemaps.com is operated by Leon Figueira, sole trader, United Kingdom. Purchases on the website are sold by Stripe as the merchant of record, which means Stripe is the legal seller, collects the payment and applies the tax for your country; Leon Figueira supplies the product. What you are buying
Merestone Pro for a country is a one-off purchase that unlocks that country's Pro layers on merestonemaps.com for your account, for as long as the service exists. Merestone Worldwide is a subscription that unlocks every country's Pro layers while it is active. Prices are shown before checkout, include VAT where it applies, and match the prices in the app.
Subscriptions
Merestone Worldwide renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly, quarterly or yearly) until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account page; access continues to the end of the period already paid for, and nothing further is charged. A country bought outright is never affected by a subscription starting or ending.
Refunds and problems
If something goes wrong at our end, email support@merestonemaps.com and it will be put right or refunded. Consumers in the UK and EU have a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase; by starting to use Pro layers immediately after purchase you agree that access begins at once, and the right to cancel ends once the content has been supplied. Where the law gives you more, the law wins.
Your account
Your account is your email address. Keep access to that inbox; anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You can sign out of every device from the account page. Accounts used for abuse, including automated bulk requests to the map, may be closed.
The data
The layers are drawn live from the official services of each publishing agency, under the licences named beside every layer. Merestone is decision support: boundaries and attributes should be verified against the official source before professional reliance, and no layer replaces a statutory search or a professional survey. The service and its data are provided as they are; services run by third parties can be slow or unavailable, and the site says so when they are.
Changes
These terms may change when the product does. The date at the top is the current version, and the change log in the site's repository records what changed.
