What this layer shows
The 100-year flood extent (T = 100 years) across the 63 ARPSI of the 2nd cycle of the Planos de Gestão dos Riscos de Inundações (2022-2027), under Directive 2007/60/EC. The service also publishes the 20- and 1000-year scenarios, which this layer does not show.

The designations a professional checks first: the Natura 2000 sites (ZEC and ZPE, the basis of the Avaliação de Incidências Ambientais), the mainland protected areas with their legal classification, the national inventory of classified areas (which covers Madeira and the Azores), the Ramsar sites, the water-domain servitudes (ARPSI flood extents, adjacent zones, abstraction protection perimeters and classified reservoirs) and the POOC and POAAP zoning. Does NOT include REN, RAN or PDM zoning, for a complete constraints plan, consult the municipality.
