Watergevoelige openruimtegebieden are designated by the Flemish Government under article 5.6.8 of the Vlaamse Codex Ruimtelijke Ordening. The former land-use designation is lifted and the decretal prescriptions of §3 apply in its place: only open-space functions such as water management, nature, forest, agriculture and small-scale recreation, with zonevreemde basic rights for existing permitted buildings and compensation for the owner (§6). These areas are rare and scattered across Flanders, so an empty result here means that there is no watergevoelig openruimtegebied in the vicinity, not that the layer is missing. No rights can be derived from the map: the afbakeningsbesluit itself is the source.
