Known gaps, stated plainly
What is not here, and why. These lines come from the app and are removed the day a layer ships.
- The flood maps, the water bodies and groundwater protection zones, the habitat and species distributions, the SPED land use designations, landscape protection, soil, quarries and marine caves are listed but cannot be opened yet: the Planning Authority's map services carry a non-commercial licence while the national data catalogue lists the same data as open. We have asked the Planning Authority and ERA, and they unlock here the moment it is confirmed.
- Scheduled property and cultural heritage, the local plans and the aerial photographs are not in the app: the Planning Authority's heritage and plan maps have no public map service, and the aerial photograph service cannot be drawn on this map. The geological map is shown as map images, so it is not in the distance search, reports or offline downloads. Species records are not included.
