What this layer shows
Malta's strict nature reserves: Filfla, Fungus Rock (Il-Ġebla tal-Ġeneral), St Paul's Islands and Il-Ponta tal-Qawra, as Malta reported them to the European Environment Agency. Access, landing and any disturbance are prohibited or need a permit from the Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) under each reserve's own regulations.

Merestone asks this service live for the area on screen. Nothing is copied or stored beyond a short cache.
This layer is drawn from the European Environment Agency's annual return of what Malta reports, not from a live service of the national body itself. A boundary changed this year appears here when the next return is published.
