What this layer shows
The areas for wind energy in the cantonal structure plans under Art. 8b RPG, as settled coordination, interim result or preliminary information. The structure plan binds the authorities, not landowners: a turbine additionally needs land-use planning and a building permit. Included: the cantons of AG, AI, AR, BE, BL, FR, GE, GL, JU, LU, NE, SH, SO, SZ, TG, TI, UR, VS, ZG and ZH; cantons whose terms of use do not allow use in this app, or that do not publish the data openly, are not included.
