What this layer shows
The legally binding forest distance lines of land-use planning. Buildings and installations near forest are allowed only if they do not impair its conservation, care and use; the line fixes the minimum distance from the forest edge. It covers the cantons AR, BE, BL, FR, GE, GL, SO, SZ, UR, ZG and ZH; cantons whose terms do not allow use in this app, or that do not publish the data openly, are not included.
