What this layer shows
The lake water bodies that Germany reports under the Water Framework Directive (as a rule lakes of 50 hectares or more and reservoirs), with their European code, compiled nationwide by the BfG from the Länder's reports (WasserBLIcK). For a project at one of these lakes the water body is the unit of the § 27 WHG assessment. The layer shows where the lake is, not its status.
