What this layer shows
A map of the areas that flood from a watercourse according to the VMM model, drawn up for the watertoets and for the duty to inform that has applied since 1 January 2023 on sale and on letting for more than nine years. The polygons carry no name. The source divides them into classes B, C and D, from a small probability under climate change to a medium probability, but supplies that class only as a numeric code without text, so the map shows all classes together; check the class itself with the source. If a parcel lies within one, that weighs in the watertoets, the advieskaart determines which water manager has to give advice, and on sale or long-term letting the duty to inform applies.
