Onttrekkingsgebieden grondwaterwinning (drinkwater)
What this layer shows
Onttrekkingsgebieden are the catchment areas feeding the groundwater abstractions for public drinking water, delineated in implementation of article 8 of the Drinking Water Directive (EU) 2020/2184. They are divided into rings according to the travel time of the groundwater to the abstraction. In themselves they prohibit nothing, they are a signal when assessing soil, discharges and drilling; the hard prohibitions lie in the beschermingszones.
