What this layer shows
Waterwingebieden and beschermingszones of types I, II and III around abstractions for the public drinking water supply, delineated by ministerial decree. Within these zones the prohibitions of the besluit of 27 March 1985 on activities in waterwingebieden and beschermingszones apply, supplemented by the sectoral conditions of VLAREM II, among them ground source energy, infiltration and storage tanks, and the zone type determines how strict they are. The zone number always belongs with the name of the abstraction, because the same abstraction has several rings.
