What this layer shows

The périmètre d'intérêt culturel, historique ou esthétique, commonly called PICHE, is an overlay on the plan de secteur applied to built ensembles whose architectural coherence deserves to be preserved. Acts and works subject to permit may there be either prohibited or made subject to particular protection conditions (art. R.II.21-8); in practice the siting, the volumes and the appearance are examined closely, in particular in the case of demolition or alteration of a façade. These perimeters have no proper name: they are identified by their designation type.

The set for a planner or an architect preparing a permit application.
