Agricultural Measures by Sub-basin (Ireland)
What this layer shows
For each of Ireland's 3,194 river sub-basins, which agricultural pressure needs work: navy for phosphorus and sediment, orange for nitrate, red for point sources, white where the job is to protect water that is already good. Built from the national WFD characterisation and pressure assessments with LAWPRO catchment findings. It is an advisory targeting layer for where measures should go: not a designation, a penalty or a compliance boundary, and nobody is in breach for sitting in one.

Angling & water
Salmonid waters, water-body status, the catchments feeding them, and which agricultural pressure each sub-basin needs work on. Ireland runs a WHOLE-TERRITORY Nitrates Action Programme (S.I. 113/2022), so there are no NVZ lines to look for: the sub-basin flags are the risk differentiation other countries get from zone boundaries.
Farming
Nutrient planning for Irish farms: where nitrate and phosphorus are most likely to reach water (the EPA's high-rank critical source areas), which agricultural pressure each sub-basin needs work on, groundwater vulnerability, soils, wells and septic-tank risk. Ireland runs a whole-territory Nitrates Action Programme, so risk grades come from these layers rather than from NVZ boundaries.
