What this layer shows

Areal natural monuments under § 28 BNatSchG, designated by ordinance of the lower nature conservation authority: copses, ravines, wetlands, rocks. Removing them and anything that could destroy, damage or alter them is prohibited. Natural monuments are not in the European reporting, so they come from each Land.

Every area-based protection at once: Natura 2000, nature and landscape protection areas, national parks, national natural monuments and biosphere reserves with their three zones, plus the nature parks and Ramsar sites the European return leaves out.
