Nationale Parken, natuurkerngebieden
What this layer shows
The core nature areas of the recognised Nationale Parken Vlaanderen, as the publisher delimits them. Recognition goes together with a masterplan and with cooperation between the partners, and in itself imposes no additional permit requirement; the wider working area of a park moreover falls outside this perimeter. One and the same park consists of several separate core areas, so the same park name may appear more than once in your results. The hard protection within the core comes from the underlying Natura 2000 and VEN designations.

What a consultancy or a notary checks first in Flanders: SBZ-H and SBZ-V with their sub-sites, VEN and IVON, Ramsar, nature reserves and natuurbeheerplannen, land-use designation and overdrukken from DSI, rights of pre-emption, protected heritage and archaeology, flood-prone land, signaalgebieden and drinking water protection zones. The rest of water, soil, land use and heritage sits in a set of its own.
