What this layer shows

Four-metre zone d'emprise measured from the bank crests of a cours d'eau non navigable classé, defined by the ordonnance du 16 mai 2019 relative à la gestion et à la protection des cours d'eau non navigables et des étangs. Building, rebuilding, demolishing, planting or depositing anything there, even temporarily, is prohibited without the written authorisation of the manager (art. 20, § 1er, 6°). Some classified watercourses carry no polygon at all: the absence of a mapped feature therefore does not mean there is no watercourse.
