What this layer shows

Ditches recorded in the Atlas du réseau hydrographique under the ordonnance du 16 mai 2019. A ditch is not a cours d'eau non navigable and is not automatically subject to the riparian obligations attached to classified watercourses; the Government may, however, give it a particular protective status (art. 5, § 3). A line entered in the Atlas signals at the very least an element of the stormwater drainage network to be preserved: check its status with Bruxelles Environnement before touching it.
