What this layer shows

The watercourse segments of the Vlaamse Hydrografische Atlas, with the legal classification for each segment: navigable, first, second or third category, polder or watering ditch, or unclassified. That category determines who manages the watercourse and whether a servitude zone applies along the bank. Unclassified watercourses have no statutory manager, and the manager field is not filled in for every segment.
