Situri de importanță comunitară și arii speciale de conservare (SCI/ASC)
What this layer shows
Natura 2000 sites designated for habitats and species (ROSCI), including those that have become Special Areas of Conservation, from the European Environment Agency's data (as at the end of 2024). A plan, project or activity that may significantly affect a site, even from outside it, needs an appropriate assessment under Government Emergency Ordinance 57/2007. The official boundaries are those approved by order of the environment minister.

Merestone asks this service live for the area on screen. Nothing is copied or stored beyond a short cache.
This layer is drawn from the European Environment Agency's annual return of what Romania reports, not from a live service of the national body itself. A boundary changed this year appears here when the next return is published.
