Reservering Rijntakken (Omgevingsregeling)
What this layer shows
Areas along the Rhine branches (Rijntakken) that the national government reserves for the long term for river-widening measures, such as moving a dyke, a high-water channel or retention, so that very high river discharges can be accommodated (Besluit kwaliteit leefomgeving, art. 5.42; the boundaries are in annex III of the Omgevingsregeling). The omgevingsplan may not allow large-scale or capital-intensive development here that could obstruct such a measure (art. 5.47 Bkl); temporary or small-scale development is allowed. A hit is rare; if you get one, consult the omgevingsplan and Rijkswaterstaat.

What carries through into the omgevingsplan and the watertoets: Natura 2000, the national reservations for new autowegen, the Wkpb restrictions, beschermde gezichten, World Heritage and the archaeological and cultural-historical maps of the RCE, the flood defences, protection zones and peilbesluiten of the waterschap, the ROR risk areas and the province's drinking water protection. The omgevingsplan and the bestemmingsplan themselves are not available as a map layer; you read the rules in the Omgevingsloket.

What burdens a parcel: the public-law restrictions from the Kadaster's Wkpb register, rijksmonumenten and beschermde groenaanleggen, beschermde gezichten and World Heritage, Natura 2000, the waterstaatswerk and the protection zone of the waterschap, the peilbesluit, the province's drinking water protection and the national reservations for new autowegen. Every hit refers to a decision or a register; obtain it before you assume that a restriction applies.
