Protection servitudes for the surroundings of monuments historiques: inside a delimited perimeter (périmètre délimité des abords), works on buildings need the agreement of the architecte des Bâtiments de France; where none is delimited, protection covers buildings visible from the monument or in covisibility with it within 500 m.
