Amphibiens
What this layer shows
Amphibian observations shared under a CC0 or CC BY 4.0 licence, plotted for the view on screen. Location is unreliable: a substantial share of these records is tied to a grid square several kilometres across and another share declares no precision at all, so a point indicates a general area and not a pond. Empty ground means that nobody has looked or that the observation is not reusable, the display is capped at three hundred records per view, and only a field survey across a full ecological cycle can support a conclusion. Where the publisher locates a record no better than a kilometre, it is drawn as a circle of that stated radius instead of a dot.
Not in the app's radius search: Observation records, not designations: an absence here is not evidence

Constraints
The constraints a consultancy checks first: Natura 2000 (the basis of the impact assessment), nature reserves, biotope orders, ZNIEFFs, classified sites, historic monument surroundings and PPR flood perimeters. It does not include each PPR's detailed regulatory zoning or the PLU rules: consult the planning document for buildability.
Nature and reserves
The protected natural spaces network: Natura 2000, the réserves naturelles (nationales, régionales, de Corse), the protection orders, the national parks with their cores, the regional and marine nature parks, the Ramsar sites and the wetlands.
