Confirmed and possible open coastal dune occurrences. Status distinguishes a statutory occurrence from an area that may contain one; do not treat the whole possible area as confirmed habitat. Records classified as not meeting this habitat definition are excluded, but may have other protection. Strict protection does not depend on inclusion in the map. An empty map does not establish habitat absence. Check current official information and survey the site where needed.
