What this layer shows
The water protection zone (Water Act §§ 118–119) protects the water body from pollution and bank erosion. Tillage, fertiliser and sewage sludge use and soil damage are banned, building is restricted and tree felling needs the Environmental Board's consent. It is usually 10–20 m wide from the water line.
