Germany's municipal boundaries at 1:250,000 from the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy, with name, designation and official municipality key. The municipality is in charge of local land-use planning and is often the first point of contact. The scale is too coarse for parcel-level boundaries; the data also include water areas outside any municipality.
