Seismische Baugrundklassen (SIA 261)
What this layer shows
The map of seismic subsoil classes under the SIA 261 structural standard, where it has been produced. The subsoil class describes how strongly the ground amplifies earthquake waves and feeds into a building's seismic design; it does not replace a geotechnical investigation on site.

Building and planning
The rules a building project meets first: building zones, primary and overlay land use, planning zones, noise sensitivity levels, crop rotation areas, static forest boundaries and river space, national road building lines and aerodrome safety zones, polluted sites, ISOS and IVS. For a parcel, the ÖREB cadastre remains what binds.
Water and natural hazards
Groundwater protection zones S1 to S3, Sh and Sm, protection areas, water protection areas Au and Ao and inflow areas, river space, then the hazard and hazard indication maps, the natural event register and seismic subsoil classes: with bathing waters and the ecomorphological state of the rivers.
