What this layer shows
Wetlands of international importance inscribed on the list of the Ramsar Convention. Inscription commits the authorities to maintaining the ecological character of the site and is superimposed on the regional protections covering it; it does not in itself create a separate permit regime. Wallonia has only a few sites: a search that returns nothing means that the area studied is not concerned, not that the layer is unavailable.
