What this layer shows
The ZRU is the priority intervention perimeter adopted by the Brussels Government on 14 November 2019 and in force since 1 January 2020. It governs access to several regional schemes, including the contrats de quartier durable, the contrats de rénovation urbaine and the regional renovation grants, the amount of which is modulated according to the perimeter. It carries no land use constraint and does not change the conditions for issuing a permit. The perimeter covers a large part of the centre and of the canal area: a property located there is a matter for the financial package of the project and not a restriction.
