Zones de protection en forêt de Soignes (plan de gestion)
What this layer shows
Zoning established by the management plan for the forêt de Soignes, which governs the management of the forest and public access to it by levels of protection. Despite their wording, these zones are not Natura 2000 special protection areas within the meaning of the Birds Directive: the Brussels-Capital Region has none. The constraints follow from the forest management plan and not from a Natura 2000 designation. The forest is moreover included in the Forêt de Soignes Natura 2000 site, designated under the Habitats Directive, whose obligations are covered in the Natura 2000 sites layer.
