The Swiss National Park under the National Park Act, and the parks of national importance under Art. 23e ff. NHG and the Parks Ordinance: regional nature parks and nature discovery parks. A regional nature park creates no building ban of its own; it relies on existing spatial planning and on the charter its municipalities sign. Stricter rules apply in the National Park itself and in the core zones of the nature discovery parks, where nature is left to develop freely and visitors keep to marked paths. The zones are drawn separately.
