The noise sensitivity levels under Art. 43 of the Noise Abatement Ordinance, which the municipalities assign to land-use zones: ES I in zones needing extra protection from noise, ES II in zones without disturbing businesses such as residential zones, ES III in zones allowing moderately disturbing businesses such as mixed and agricultural zones, ES IV in industrial zones. The level decides which exposure limits apply to road, rail, aircraft and industrial noise, and so whether noise-sensitive rooms can be permitted at a site. Included: the cantons of AG, AI, AR, BE, BL, BS, FR, GE, GR, JU, LU, NE, SH, SO, SZ, TG, TI, UR, VS and ZG; cantons whose terms of use do not allow use in this app, or that do not publish the data openly, are not included. For the canton of Graubünden's data: “The structure-plan and land-use-plan information is provided without warranty and has no legal effect. Only the paper documents signed by the planning authority and the approving authority are binding.”

Construcción y planificación
The rules a building project meets first: building zones, primary and overlay land use, planning zones, noise sensitivity levels, crop rotation areas, static forest boundaries and river space, national road building lines and aerodrome safety zones, polluted sites, ISOS and IVS. For a parcel, the ÖREB cadastre remains what binds.
