Biotopes protected directly by operation of law under § 30 BNatSchG in conjunction with § 42 LNatSchG NRW: with no designation procedure and no ordinance. Acts capable of destroying or significantly impairing them are prohibited. The statutory protection attaches to the actual condition of the land, not to this map: a biotope that has newly formed is protected from its first day, even if it is missing here.
