CORINE Landcover 2024

What this layer shows
The EPA's CORINE Landcover 2024 for Ireland, produced on behalf of the European Environment Agency and Copernicus: land cover in the standard CORINE classes, mapped to a 25 hectare minimum unit. A national overview, not a site survey: features smaller than 25 hectares are absorbed into their surroundings.

Habitats
Ireland's habitat evidence base: ancient & long-established woodland, the National Survey of Native Woodlands, the Irish Semi-natural Grasslands Survey, coastal lagoons and freshwater pearl mussel sensitive catchments: with SACs for statutory context. Survey layers are classified to Fossitt, the scheme Irish habitat reports are written in.
