Masses d'eau souterraines (DCE, AEE)
What this layer shows
The groundwater bodies of the third Water Framework Directive cycle, as France reported them to the European Environment Agency. Every site lies above at least one groundwater body: it is context for boreholes, infiltration and discharges, not a constraint in itself.

Merestone asks this service live for the area on screen. Nothing is copied or stored beyond a short cache.
This layer is drawn from the European Environment Agency's annual return of what France reports, not from a live service of the national body itself. A boundary changed this year appears here when the next return is published.
