What this layer shows
Groundwater and recharge areas mapped for water supply and groundwater protection. This INSPIRE dataset is updated twice yearly. It is not a well map or a real-time water-quality measurement. Recharge areas identify infiltration zones and may lie within groundwater areas; do not sum overlapping records as distinct sites. Boundaries were mainly mapped at 1:20,000, partly 1:50,000. Check current official information before making decisions.
