Principal Salmon Fisheries (England)
What this layer shows
Catchments of England's principal salmon rivers (PSR) and principal sea trout rivers (PSTR), recreated by Natural England from the 2021 assessment of salmon stocks by Cefas, the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales. Not every river with salmon or sea trout is shown. For visualisation only, not statutory purposes.

Wetland
Bog, fen, reedbed, marsh and open water. Blanket and raised bog, lowland fens, reedbeds, upland flushes, priority ponds and lakes, coastal and floodplain grazing marsh, and chalk rivers: with Ramsar sites and nutrient neutrality catchments, because on a wetland site the hydrology and the nutrient budget are usually the same conversation.
