What this layer shows
The ecomorphological survey of rivers and streams under the federal modular stepwise procedure (level F): for each reach, the class from natural or near-natural to culverted, with bed and bank reinforcement and the state of the riparian zone. The cantons collected the data, some of it many years ago: the survey date is given for each reach. It is one of the bases of river revitalisation planning under Art. 38a GSchG.
