Known gaps, stated plainly
What is not here, and why. These lines come from the app and are removed the day a layer ships.
- Species records are not in the app: ask the Icelandic Institute of Natural History (Náttúrufræðistofnun). Native birch woodland, the soil map and crown-land boundaries are not included: their publishers do not allow resale, or release them only on request.
- Volcanic hazard zones on the Reykjanes peninsula change at short notice and the open copy is out of date: follow the Icelandic Met Office and Civil Protection. Full habitat-type maps are published only as images.
