An area of unprotected groundwater, where only a thin soil layer covers the aquifer and pollution reaches it quickly. Under the Water Act (VeeS), the use of manure, sewage sludge and chemicals is restricted there.

Flood areas at four probabilities, flood risk areas, the shore building exclusion, restriction and water protection zones, the public shore path, drinking-water source protection zones, groundwater protection, the nitrate-vulnerable zone and water body status. The building exclusion zone width comes from the Act (LKS § 38).
