Auengebiete von nationaler Bedeutung
Wat deze laag toont
Floodplains of national importance under Art. 18a NHG and the Floodplains Ordinance. The objects are to be preserved intact; the protection objectives include the plant and animal life typical of floodplains and, where sensible and feasible, the natural dynamics of water and sediment. Departures are allowed only for projects directly tied to the location that serve protection against the harmful effects of water or another overriding public interest of national importance, and they require protection, restoration or replacement measures. The cantons fix the exact boundaries.

The basis of every environmental assessment under the NHG.
Milieuonderzoek
