Each measure names the legislation it rests on, the gear concerned and its period of validity. The layer is about fisheries and says nothing about other activities at sea.

For the quickscan natuur and the natuurtoets: the Natura 2000 sites split by Habitats Directive and Birds Directive, so that for each site you can see under which directive the conservation objectives apply, together with the Nationale Parken, the Ramsar wetlands and, at sea, the fisheries measures in the North Sea. The Natuurnetwerk Nederland is not yet available as a national layer; consult the provinciale omgevingsverordening for that.
