Zones d’eaux souterraines
Groundwater and recharge areas mapped for water supply and groundwater protection. This INSPIRE dataset is updated twice yearly. It is not a well map or a real-time water-quality measurement. Recharge areas identify infiltration zones and may lie within groundwater areas; do not sum overlapping records as distinct sites. Boundaries were mainly mapped at 1:20,000, partly 1:50,000. Check current official information before making decisions.

Modelled flood hazard, not a live forecast. Recurrence represents estimated annual probability at the source modelling date. River/lake scenarios exclude ice effects. Mapping is geographically incomplete; an empty map does not demonstrate safety. The waterbody class represents existing water. Precision is insufficient for building-specific conclusions. Online maps use publisher depth and protection styling. Downloaded vectors use one colour; inspect feature attributes for depth. National downloads are very large; choose a local area where appropriate.
