They protect officially recognised medicinal springs much as water protection areas do; the protection zone is not a separate field. Länder with their own layer in the app appear here a second time. Only the competent authority's protection ordinance is legally binding.

Agua e inundaciones
The water-law side of a site: drinking-water and medicinal-spring protection areas with their zones, designated flood plains and flood hazard maps, Saxony’s flood-generation areas, and bathing waters. Flood plains designated under § 76 WHG are subject to the construction safeguards in § 78 WHG, including statutory exceptions and possible approvals by the competent authority. The map does not replace the authority’s assessment of a specific proposal.
