The shifting objects of the inventory of amphibian breeding sites of national importance: mostly working gravel, clay or stone pits, where breeding pools appear and disappear as extraction moves on. What is protected is not the individual pond but the site's function as a breeding area; extraction can continue as long as enough suitable breeding waters remain. The map shows the location as a point; details are in the object sheet.

Inventarios federales
The inventories of national importance a project is measured against: BLN, floodplains, raised bogs and fens, mire landscapes, dry grasslands and amphibian breeding sites, with the hunting-ban areas, bird reserves, forest reserves, wildlife rest zones, Emerald and Ramsar sites and Pro Natura's reserves. The basis of every environmental assessment under the NHG.
