The zones vulnerable to nitrate pollution from agricultural sources that Spain has reported to the European Commission (Directive 91/676/EEC), on the mainland, the Balearics and the Canaries, as published by the European Environment Agency, with each zone's designation date. In them farming is subject to mandatory action programmes (Real Decreto 47/2022). The autonomous communities designate and revise them: a revision after the latest report to the EU may not appear here, and the community's designation in force prevails.

Diese Ebene wird aus der jährlichen Meldung gezeichnet, mit der die zuständigen Stellen in Spanien an die Europäische Umweltagentur berichten, nicht aus einem Live-Dienst der nationalen Stelle selbst. Eine in diesem Jahr geänderte Grenze erscheint hier, sobald die nächste Meldung veröffentlicht ist.

The designations consulted first in any environmental study: the Red Natura 2000 (ZEC and ZEPA, the basis of the appropriate assessment) and the national inventory of Espacios Naturales Protegidos, which also covers the Canaries and the Balearics. The starting point for an EIA or an appropriate assessment.
