Bat records under an open licence. The great majority come from winter counts at fixed hibernation sites, so this layer says little about summer roosts, maternity roosts and flight lines, and the data holders deliberately blur sensitive species to grid squares of 1 to 10 kilometres. Where nothing is shown, either nobody looked or the record was not shared under a freely reusable licence, and nothing in this layer replaces a protected species survey or fieldwork. Where the publisher locates a record no better than a kilometre, it is drawn as a circle of that stated radius instead of a dot.
