Zone de prévention rapprochée around an abstraction of water intended for human consumption. Within it the Code de l'Eau prohibits, or makes subject to conditions, a large number of activities (tanks, storage, discharges to the ground, certain earthworks): it is the most onerous land constraint under the water theme in Wallonia. Always check the status shown, because not all the zones in this layer have been adopted by arrêté; some are still under examination or at enquiry stage.
